במהלך לימודי גדלתי בחוגים לארכיאולוגיה ולימודים קלאסיים באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. כתבתי דוקטורט על אודות תהליכי העיור ביהודה/פלשתינה הרומית, הייתי עוזר מחקר בקורפוס הכתובות מארץ ישראל (CIIP) וכיום עורך. אני מתמחה בארכיאולוגיה ואפיגרפיה הלניסטית ורומית במזרח הקרוב ובימים אלו מנהל חפירה בתל אבו שושה שם שכנה הפוליס גבע פיליפי. כעת אני חבר סגל בחוגים לארכאולוגיה והמזרח הקרוב הקדום והיסטוריה כללית.
